It is absolutely amazing to us that our baby is now a toddler! The last year has been the most incredible year of our lives. Katelyn is the best thing that has ever happened to us and we are so thankful for her and the warmth and happiness that she brought into our lives.
Katelyn's birthday party was wonderful! The weather cooperated (and that was my biggest concern), the food was good, the cake was delicious, the birthday girl was happy, and we got to spend a wonderful milestone in our life with great friends & family. Thank everyone for coming! It was wonderful celebrating with you!
Kate had a wonderful time. We have video of a lot of the party. My favorite is when we started singing "Happy Birthday"... Katelyn opened her mouth in shock and awe! The whole time we were singing she had her mouth open and she just looked around at everyone while the sang to her. I think she knew that we were singing to her and she was suprised and awestruck! It was so great. I am so thankful that we got a video camera just in time. I was so sad we didn't have one to document her first steps, but you have to start somewhere & we got her first birthday!
