Life

We moved! We live in a beautiful house in the San Diego Country Estates. We are all so happy here. We have a huge backyard with beautiful green grass, lush green landscaping, and a pool that is perfect for my Katelyn! The inside is just as nice. I'll probably say this a million times, but we LOVE it! Laci loves it and even Gem, my cat, loves it.

Katelyn is doing so many new things. First, she is obsessed with money! She loves change, and she thinks that everything in my wallet is money, cards, receipts, bills, everything! She empties my purse and wallet and brings the empty items to me asking for more money! I think it is hilarious. She is saying so many new things as well. I was eating cereal the other day and she came up to me and said "Up", I picked her up and she says "bite". We're teaching her please and thank you as well. She says "peese" with the most adorable little smile on her face, it is priceless. Yesterday she wanted to read books all day. We read Big Red Barn ten times in a row. I then asked her to go to her room and pick another book for Mommy to read to her. I couldn't believe that she completely understood me! She went all the way to her room, to her book shelf, and brought me a new book! After reading that book a couple times, we did it again. I was so impressed and proud of her! She is obsessed with brushing her teeth. We brush our teeth 4 or 5 times a day! She gets really upset when we take the toothbrush away. It's actually really cute. She truly is a gem, I love her so much, and everyday I love her more and more. She does so many wonderful, new things, everyday. She gives the warmest, most loving hugs and kisses. She is still incredibly in love with Dad. He is everything she wants when he gets home. It is so sweet to see her run to the front door with a huge smile on her face, calling Dad! It puts the biggest smile on his face as well! I know it just makes his day.

Todd is trying to stay busy with work. He landed an 8 week remodel in North Park and it ended up being disasterous. There was a homeowner, an investor, the homeowner/investors project manager type guy, and his assistant! All of them wanted different things from Todd, demanded different things, and nobody was on the same page. After two weeks of complete miscommunication between everyone, being paid late, and disrespect to Todd, Todd terminated his contract with them. It was too stressful, unsteady and he wasn't being paid in accordance to his contract. He was very respectful about it and told them that when the four of them were on the same page, and were able to better communicate that he would gladly come back and finish the job. Fortunately he has had work coming to him, finally! He is doing a room addition/ complete home remodel here in Ramona which will start in about a 6 weeks, and until then he has a bathroom remodel, a tile job, and two decks to build. It is so nice to have some consistency. It has been tough keeping his work steady this last year. We hope that it stays steady.

There are so many more things to say! I just don't have the time! I'll be back :)

Love to everyone!
